When did we open?

Clovercroft Elementary opened as the newest Williamson County School in August 2011.

Before/After School Care:
The Williamson County Schools SACC (School Age Child Care) Program is offered to Clovercroft students before and after school hours. While school is in session, SACC provides services from 6:20 am until 6:00 pm. This program provides a variety of activities for students. Twice during the school year, students have the opportunity to partcipate in the BASE program. For additional information, contact the Clovercroft site director Dwayne Pate at 472-5182 or dwaynep@wcs.edu. You can also find additional information on the SACC's website.

Parent Teacher Organization:
Clovercroft's Parent Teacher Organization provides parents with many opportunities to support the school. From volunteering time and supporting school activities to organizing various events and fundraising activities, the PTO is a an integral part of the school's success.

Parent Teacher Conferences:
Parent involvement and student success are important to the faculty and staff of
Clovercroft Elementary. We view parents as our partners in education. Report cards are sent home with students at the end of each nine weeks' grading period. Progress reports are sent home at the midpoint of the nine weeks. There is a scheduled parent/teacher conference in the fall. However, teachers schedule parent/teacher conferences throughout each semester of the school year as individual conferences are needed. Ongoing parent-teacher communications are encouraged.

Student Support Services:
Meeting students' individual needs is important to the faculty and staff. Clovercroft operates within the inclusion model for all students. We have two special education teachers with assistants, a Speech/Language pathologist, and a part-time gifted education consultant. Students regularly attend Life Skills classes taught by a full time school counselor. Students are also taught Character Education lessons in the classroom by their homeroom teacher. These lessons are taught on a regular basis and emphasize student character based on Quantum Learning.

Student Activities:
Students are encouraged to participate in various events and activities. Opportunities for involvement range from school events such as the back to school bash, Clovercroft derby, and field day to club activities such as Destination Imagination, Green Team, and Student Council. Additional opportunities can be found on the website.
