Flipped Math Classroom

Students in Lori Bradley’s 4th grade class at Pearre Creek Elementary are experiencing math in a whole new way. Lori is exploring the use of a flipped classroom model. She used the TT- 12 Elmo Document Camera to record a lesson on Volume of 3D Objects. Lori uploaded that lesson to her SharePoint webpage for students to watch at home. Students watched the lesson of direct instruction and then Lori facilitated activities in class to practice and guide the application of those skills. Lesson Video
